The webinar session will be facilitated by Gregory Cuppan, Managing Principal and Philip Bernick, Senior Consultant of McCulley/Cuppan. They will discuss the results of their work to enhance review practices in a variety of business and research organizations. They will examine some of the prevalent disconnects in review practices and then point attendees toward more effective review practices.

Over the years, McCulley/Cuppan has observed review practices in multiple contexts through our work with numerous pharmaceutical, medical device, and clinical research enterprises. In the process of analyzing and troubleshooting failure, we created a clearer path to success in review outcomes. Document reviews are generally seen as a weakness in organizational performance. For the most part, pharmaceutical and medical device companies and clinical research enterprises are unaware of the research and practice that bears on issues of effective document development and review. To change existing review practice, individuals and companies need to come to a better understanding of the multiple functions and value of review activities, become more reflective and evaluative on their own work practices, and look to apply the best practices utilized in other document-intensive industries.
