A group of US olive oil buyers is on a mission…to Tunisia, to explore the cultural wonders and business opportunities of this southern Mediterranean paradise.
The mission, hosted by Packtec and coordinated by Hamman Marketing Associates in the US, takes place from March 14-20. The group participating in the mission includes buyers from all sectors of the US olive oil market including importers, foodservice and retail distributors, online wholesalers and retailers, culinary experts and key retailers.

The mission is part of a larger program to promote 100% Tunisian olive oil in the US market. The tradition of Tunisian olive oil dates back centuries. Located along Africa's northern coast just 60 nautical miles from the island of Sicily, Tunisia is the world's fourth largest producer of olive oil.
