InventHelp®, America's leading inventor service company, announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Chicago, has designed a device that would appeal to smokers because it would prevent the theft or loss of a cigarette lighter. This invention is patented.
The Klepto would enable a smoker to always have a lighter on hand, along with providing peace of mind when allowing another individual to borrow one's lighter. This device would attach to a smoker's belt and features a retractable tether that automatically returns the lighter to the belt-mounted holder. The invention would also be designed to reduce the frequency with which a lost or stolen lighter must be replaced.
The invention would consist of a retractable tether that is positioned in the bottom of the interior of the holder, which would connect the lighter to the holder. Two each of red and blue lights would be positioned on either side of the holder. All four lights would then flash and blink quickly whenever the lighter is removed from the holder.
InventHelp® is attempting to submit the invention to companies for review. If substantial interest is expressed, the company will attempt to negotiate for a sale or royalties for the inventor.
