Montreal, Canada (PRWEB) February 20, 2010
Integration New Media Inc. (INM), a Montreal-based, interactive publications and application developer that specializes in creating rich user experiences, has developed a new web application for the Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), the world’s largest professional society for doctors who treat people with cancer.
ASCO’s Annual Meeting attracts nearly 30,000 practitioners and researcher scientists from around the world every year, and features 1,000 presentations across 24 different tracks. INM worked with ASCO to develop a web-based itinerary builder to help members and attendees better plan for the meeting. The application combined INM’s Go Abstracts product with custom development services to provide ASCO and conference attendees with three powerful capabilities in one solution: publishing, searching and itinerary building.
“The solution we developed for ASCO enabled conference attendees to prepare for the Annual Meeting in advance, “ said Francois Boissonneault, project manager at INM. “The web-based interface facilitated ASCO’s ability to make up-to-the-minute updates to conference sessions, such as changes in the location, time and speaker. It also enabled attendees to quickly search through more than 1,000 presentations by performing a keyword search and immediately zeroing-in on the sessions with the most relevant content for their needs.”
Integration New Media (INM) has a proven track record of delivering user-friendly and reliable applications to consumers. With 20 years of experience working with clients across a diverse range of industry segments, INM has amassed the talent and expertise needed to generate measurable business results - whether an organization is looking for an out-of-the-box solution or to supplement its in-house development team to develop an application from scratch.
INM Go Abstracts enables events planners and anyone else responsible for delivering a large amount of abstracts, conference session information, publications and other content to users before, during, and after an event. INM Go Abstracts combines publishing, search and itinerary building into a powerful, self-serve solution that doesn’t require any HTML programming skills or IT staff to be involved.
