Author Susana M. Johnson attempts to fill the hearts of young readers with fun and glee as she releases through Xlibris her vibrant picture book entitled Bryce with His Bright Red Hair. Illustrated by Duran Archie, this release talks about a young boy’s amusing experiences involving his hair.
Readers will meet Bryce, a lovable and adventurous young boy who has bright red hair. One summer day, he goes to practice tennis with Grandma, and a hummingbird comes hovering over his hair. The next day, he walks to the park with Mommy and a bumblebee comes hovering over his hair, too. On another day, he goes swimming with Grandpa in the pool, and a dragonfly comes zigzagging toward his hair but accidentally lands on the water, almost drowning itself, if not for the help of Grandpa. Why are these critters always rushing to Bryce’s hair? Young readers will find out why in this engaging book.
Packed with fun-filled illustrations, Bryce with His Bright Red Hair not only sends a valuable lesson of safety, but also shares that some insects are just harmless friends. This book is also available in Spanish version: Manuel y su brillante cabello rojo.
