Watching professional sports is a zeal shared by Americans nationwide; it allows strangers to bond over a commonality; it gives us something to cheer for; it awakens our spirits

University of Southern California sports fan, Jeff Jolly, has always held a passion for football (he's also a New Orleans Saints fan as he favors Reggie Bush), baseball (he played in high school) and even basketball.
"Watching professional sports is a zeal shared by Americans nationwide; it allows strangers to bond over a commonality; it gives us something to cheer for; it awakens our spirits," Jolly said.
About one year ago, Jolly established a Web-based business, http://www.LuckyTeeShirts.com, to distribute a vibrant selection of T-shirts that commemorate historical and triumphant moments in professional sports. His threads are centered on NFL, MLB and NBA teams and individual players as they document these paramount moments. Vintage T-shirt prints of championships and pro-Obama shirts are also available.
"My T-shirts are reasonably priced and some feature humorous sports references such as Terrell Owens' legendary quote, 'Getcha' popcorn ready,'" Jolly said.
Jolly would like to expand his T-shirt line to include college sports in the future. Most notably, however, is the hopeful addition of original, artistic T-shirts designed and produced by an artist based out of California. These shirts profile different pro sports players - all of African American descent - who have contributed to a historical moment or event in sports. Because the artist plans to distribute a limited number of each design, Jolly anticipates these T-shirts to become true collectors' items.
To learn more about the collection of merchandise available through the Web site, shoppers are encouraged to visit the site's newly formulated blog. This interactive tool, http://www.LuckyTeeShirtsBlog.com, will also be used to discuss recent news in sports, NFL drafts, signing dates for college sports, the controversy of steroid use among professional athletes and more.
