An exciting and thrilling story of action, fantasy, adventure, and more awaits readers as author Kyrstin Underbakke creates interesting characters and weaves fascinating plots in Campus Outcasts. In a fiction where vampires, werewolves, walkers, ogres, and other mystical creatures go to a university with humans, both young and old readers will surely be enthralled from the first to the last page.

A legitimate club in the University of Minnesota, Campus Outcasts is an organization that welcomes those students who feel like they are social outcasts. But behind this façade lies the real vision of the group. It is the group formed by and composed of those who are not really humans or simply called the “Others”—Todd, the walker who turns into a red fox and has a SuperNose that can smell the bloodline and composition of a creature; Merlin, the father of a coven of vampires, and his family; Addison, the Alpha of his pack of werewolves, and his family; Helen, the resident sea nymph; Ellie, a gremlin; and Darryl, an ogre.

When Todd smells Liam, a newcomer on the campus, whose blood is a mix of many different species—fire elf, wood elf, leprechaun, troll, vampire, and ghoul—he becomes curious and invites him to attend the club’s regular Thursday meeting. Liam meets the Others and is very interested to discover his own identity. But one day, while he and one of the Others are in a grocery store, he bumps into Jamison Diego, a dangerous and obsessive vampire from another coven. When Jamison smells Liam, he becomes attracted to his mixed blood and covets him. The Others may be able to protect themselves but Liam is another matter. He is not adept to fighting especially to a creature like Jamison. How will Liam and the Others face Jamison’s challenging threat?

Campus Outcasts invites readers to follow the Others as they help Liam by training him—honing his fighting skills and other senses—and by protecting him from the dangers and clutches of the evil creatures that want him.
