Paint And Coatings Consulting Firm Relocating To MLSIC; Move Will Enable Expanded Product R&D Services

Chemical Dynamics will be relocating from its current facilities in Ann Arbor, MI to the Michigan Life Science and Innovation Center in Plymouth, MI as of March 1st, 2010. The move was announced today by Chemical Dynamics President and CEO, Ronald Lewarchik, who stated that the relocation to the 57,000 square foot MLSIC facility will provide the firm with some much needed space to accommodate both new equipment and a growing staff.

The former Pfizer facility located between Detroit and Ann Arbor is already home to a number of biotechnology and other scientific companies, offering state of the art laboratory space along with other amenities geared towards the needs of growing technology firms. While Chemical Dynamics is already well established in the coil, marine, automotive, architectural and industrial sectors, the relocation to this larger facility will enable the company to extend their capabilities and offer ever more advanced product development, expert witness, paint consultant and environmental testing services to their growing client base.

The Michigan Life Science and Innovation Center's full complement of infrastructure for scientific firms and their range of amenities have enabled the growth of several high tech firms and helped position the greater Detroit region as a focal point for scientific and technology sectors. With the addition of Chemical Dynamics to this technology incubator, it is a certainty that other life sciences and technology companies and research institutions will follow suit as the area becomes one of the leading centers for the sciences in the Midwest.

According to Lewarchik, Chemical Dynamics looks forward to the relocation, saying that the MLSIC facilities will allow the company to continue to develop increasingly sophisticated and innovative specialized coatings, perform detailed surface and failure analysis, reverse engineering and the many other services offered by the firm.
