Pearson's partnership with the Louisiana Community & Technical College System (LCTCSOnline) to create a groundbreaking online learning program to address the state's workforce shortage is yielding enrollment increases, according to data released by LCTCS.
Launched in January 2009, LCTCSOnline has seen enrollments jump 43 percent from the spring 2009 to spring 2010 semesters, to 424 current enrollments. Students throughout Louisiana are taking advantage of this convenient way to receive a college education in an online environment.

Since launching, LCTCSOnline has made a series of improvements, including moving exclusively to customized eBooks, saving students an average of 31 percent on their current spring semester materials.
