It's lessons like these, and other valuable information about the game and teamwork, that I plan to include on my blog.

But what makes his methods different and superior to that of other youth coaches isn't his in-depth knowledge of football or his pure love of the game. Miller recognizes that coaching kids isn't just about sports; he serves as a mentor and a life coach as well.

Additionally, he must coach the parents, so to speak; explaining how to properly care for the equipment, outlining practice exercises and easing their minds about competition and safety. Therefore, Miller developed an interactive blog,, to make such information readily available.

"Not all kids are the greatest players in the world and parents need to recognize that and not push their kids too hard," Miller said. "It's lessons like these, and other valuable information about the game and teamwork, that I plan to include on my blog."

Miller's efforts don't end with an outlay of parental and team coaching fundamentals or the knowhow of the game.
