Stunt Drivers World Wide Adopt CG-Lock Technology Following the Lead of “James Bond”

Lap Belt Cinch, Inc. (LBC), makers of the CG-Lock, announced that Pinewood Film Studios, one of the premier studios involved in state-of-the art stunts for films including the James Bond 007 and Jason Bourne series, is installing CG-Lock devices into its stunt cars to enhance stunt driver performance and safety. "We are excited with the announcement by Pinewood" states Chuck Carter, CEO of LBC, "our CG-Lock device greatly improves driver control and safety and to see Pinewood and stunt teams around the world embracing our technology is a real testament to the user benefit of our products." Already in several major motion pictures such as 007's Quantum Of Solace, staring Daniel Craig, and National Treasure, staring Nicholas Cage, the CG-Lock is fast becoming a "must have device" for performance drivers everywhere.

"Stunt drivers can’t wear harnesses in movie scenes and, since seat belts get loose while driving, they don’t provide the needed driving control and safety desired by these same drivers", explains Carter. "By adding the CG-lock to an existing seat belt, the lap belt can be tightened around a stunt man’s upper thighs and hips to lock the stuntman into the seat, providing about 80% of the control benefit of a racing harness, while also greatly enhancing safety."

Ben Collins, who doubled as 007 for Roger Craig in Quantum of Solace, is a strong supporter of the CG-Lock and, after shooting the movie he stated that the CG-Lock was “very useful for some of the challenging driving sequences and you’ll see why when you see the movie.”

"We are not only focused on professional and performance drivers" declares Carter; "we are also focused on the safety and comfort of every day users of seat belts and we have incorporated our CG-Lock technology into our newest product, SeatSnug, which is initially being targeted to enhance the safety of children." Children riding in booster seats are not safely secured by the normal seat belt attachment and, by adding SeatSnug to the seat belt, children in booster seats can be safely secured to reduce the risk of injury in auto accidents, while also stabilizing them to enhance their comfort. Crash tested and recipient of the National Parenting Center Seal of Approval for child booster seat safety, the SeatSnug device can easily be added to an existing seat belt in a matter of minutes. “If stunt drivers use the CG-Lock technology to safely secure themselves with seat belts, moms, dads, grand-moms and grand-pops should want to secure their loved-ones with SeatSnug.”

About CG-Lock Technology: The CG-Lock technology is a unique, patented and crash tested technology, which has been incorporated into aftermarket devices that easily attach to an existing seat belt to enhance seat belt performance and user safety. The CG-Lock technology has been endorsed by performance drivers and instructors, race car drivers, stunt drivers, police and police driving instructors, mobility impaired drivers, moms, child safety advocates and medical professionals (for use by drivers suffering from lower back pain).
