Joint venture will expand mobile services.

Club Assist announced today that it has entered into a new joint venture with CAA South Central Ontario to deliver the mobile battery service to CAA members. The new company, Integrated Road Services, will operate initially in the Greater Toronto market to deliver mobile battery replacements, lock-out services, tire changes and fuel delivery.

“This integration of two very successful organizations creates a strong partnership focused on future growth of the mobile battery service,” says Chris Stamp, Director of Automotive Services for CAA South Central Ontario. “Our goal is to provide the highest quality product and service. The battery program is the cornerstone to keeping our members mobile by fixing the problem at the roadside. We're very proud to have this opportunity to work with Club Assist to expand our services.”

Integrated Road Services estimates it will respond to more than 80,000 road service calls in 2010. Fully trained drivers provide a comprehensive on-scene diagnostic test to evaluate the battery, charging and starting systems. CAA batteries are available for 98 percent of the vehicles in the Toronto area, and are backed by a three-year free replacement warranty and a further three-year pro-rated warranty.

Club Assist provides support to all nine Canadian Automobile Association affiliates and also provides support to auto clubs in the United States, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, France, Germany and the Netherlands.

“We're proud to partner with CAA South Central Ontario for our first joint venture in North America,” says Stuart Davies, CEO and Executive President of Club Assist Corporation. “Club Assist specializes in helping auto clubs deliver mobile services, which makes Integrated Road Services a perfect showcase for our capabilities.”
