- Lago Mar Country Club, known to golf enthusiasts as one of South Florida's finest private country clubs, just upped the ante when it recently unveiled its completely redesigned 18-hole golf course designed by award-winning architect Kipp Schulties.

The $7.5 million renovation included the course's new grass reminiscent of cascading hills and a variety of distances, tees, bunkers, carts paths, practice facility, driving range, new upscale club house and much more.

"Lago Mar Country Club has been widely known to be one of the best Private Family Country Club's in South Florida, period," boasted Ellen Singer, Membership Director of Lago Mar Country Club. "Now, are the newest."

To celebrate the new renovation, competitive membership rates are being offered for a limited time. Membership benefits include an extensive golf program directed by PGA Professionals with over 20 organized golf tournaments annually for our members.

Also, to kick off their newly redesigned golf course, The Lago Mar Women's Golf Association hosted a PLAY for P.I.N.K. charity tournament on February 11th for all its members and guests to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The event raised over $7,500 and brought out 95 golfers who braved the cold weather to support breast cancer research.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to cancer Prevention, Immediate Diagnosis, New Technology & Knowledge (P.I.N.K.), where all proceeds raised are directly contributed to research and education. Mayor Michael Bloomberg underwrites ALL of the operating expenses for Play for P.I.N.K., where 100% of the proceeds go to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
