NRCCUA to Host 3rd Annual Cooperative Education Research Summit

Dozens of national educational organizations will gather next week to collaborate on how to achieve program and funding growth in light of the current economic and political climate at the third annual Cooperative Education Research Summit. This important meeting will be held on March 2, 2010 at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, VA.

Dozens of national educational organizations will gather next week to collaborate on how to achieve program and funding growth in light of the current economic and political climate at the third annual Cooperative Education Research Summit. This important meeting will be held on March 2, 2010 at the Marriott Fairview Park in Falls Church, VA.

Representatives from educator associations, student organizations, and community action groups are scheduled to attend. Guest speakers this year include Congressman Timothy Bishop, Melissa Panagides-Busch, Director of the Center for Education Policy and Practice, and Richard Rossi, Chairman and Co-Founder of Envision EMI.

Hosted by the National Research Center for College & University Admissions, the summit will include sessions on communicating education research results to funders and boards, and supporting value and growth while meeting individual program goals. NRCCUA also seeks to assist educational organizations in creating new value with their existing resources and programs, and providing information new educational funding opportunities through the Reinvestment and Recovery Act & Department of Education.

The missions of both NRCCUA and all of the educational organizations involved have been supported for several years by the NRCCUA Cooperative Research Program, which reaches millions of students and thousands of educators in ways that were cost and logistically prohibitive in the past.
