Not only are we offering a high quality case, but a user experience that no competitor can even get close to

Dacha Works LLC, the mobile computing accessories company, today introduced Module, its first smartcase for the Apple® iPhone. Module is the world’s first all-purpose iPhone case to proactively augment the iPhone’s form factor to greatly improve the user experience.
Research and Design
Since the brand's inception in 2009, Dacha Works has been an incubator for novel approaches to protecting and augmenting mobile computing platforms. Founded by artist Colin Montgomery, Dacha Works focuses on breaking the “dumb-protector with fashionable-applique” paradigm that drives nearly all design in the smartphone case industry. This approach turns the focus away from awkward-handling protective cases to upgrading the form factor of the iPhone itself. Given the Apple® iPhone’s unsurpassed touchscreen interface and diverse App ecosystem, Dacha Works has focused initial product development for that platform.
“What makes the iPhone unique as a handheld interface is the expanding number of novel ways in which it is used,” explains the Dacha Works founder. “The proliferation of apps not only effects content viewed on the phone, but changes the way the iPhone is physically handled. We saw an opportunity to dynamically change the way iPhone accessories are understood, and open wide a new market of use-driven form-factors. Not only are we offering a high quality case, but a user experience that no competitor can even get close to.”
The primary design element of the Module case is its LeveRidge (Patent Pending), a continuous feature nestled in the tapered space of the iPhone’s back. LeveRidge greatly improves handling and reduces the effort that fingers expend while holding, balancing, and leveraging the both the bare iPhone and the iPhone using traditional iPhone cases. This leads to less finger stress and a better user experience.
The Cut-Out on the Module’s back face gives the user’s fingers greater purchase on the device. Together with LeveRidge, this allows users to easily take photos and video one-handed for the first time using the iPhone.
These four features act as an additional handling aid, and also keep the iPhone slightly elevated off of flat surfaces when laid face-down.
