imo's chat history is a great lightweight way to search for information in past conversations.

imo.im is a free web-based service that allows users to hold text, voice, and video chats on multiple instant messaging protocols simultaneously.

Ex-Googler and imo co-founder Georges Harik says, "imo's chat history is a great lightweight way to search for information in past conversations." With this new feature, users can access and save instant messaging conversations from anywhere they can log into imo--and on every protocol it supports: AIM, Google Talk, Jabber, ICQ, MSN, MySpace, Facebook Chat, Yahoo Messenger, and Skype. imo.im doesn't require a download or account sign-up to use the service. Users log into the site using one of their instant messaging accounts, and imo will automatically log and encrypt their chats.

imo.im's chat history feature enables users to:
-- easily search through conversations by keyword or phrase, buddy name, date range, and account
-- view search results letter-by-letter as they type
-- browse conversations with a particular buddy by day
-- delete conversations with a particular buddy by day
