At one point or another, everyone needs an electrical contractor
Southlake, TX (PRWEB) March 1, 2010
TLC Electrical (http://www.tlcelectrical.com) has launched a new website developed by i5 web works. This is not the first website for TLC; however, after determining that their old website was not meeting their needs, TLC Electrical decided it was time to upgrade to a more functional website.
According to Tom Church of TLC Electrical, "Our old website was created in-house. Even though it looked nice and sported the TLC name, it was still very basic, was never fully developed, and did not give customers an accurate idea of the services TLC was capable of providing. We soon realized that our DIY site was simply not getting the amount of web traffic that we wanted."
Tami Church, also of TLC Electrical, agreed: "We know more and more customers are turning to the Internet to find goods and services, but creating a website that will attract those customers is a huge undertaking for a small business. We turned to i5 to help us create a website that could get our message to potential customers, and the team worked with us every step of the way to make the web development project as painless as possible."
The sleek and modern design that i5 web works created for TLC Electrical is considerably more expansive than the former website. No longer just a handful of pages with limited content, the new website is full of information for potential customers, including examples of many of the electrical issues TLC addresses, and in-depth insights into potential electrical problems and solutions that will help customers understand the type of electrical issue they are facing.
The i5 web works team also took steps to increase web traffic to TLC Electrical's website by optimizing the pages. "At one point or another, everyone needs an electrical contractor," said i5 web works principal Carita Weaver. "We optimized TLC's website with relevant keywords to ensure that when residents of Northeast Tarrant County turn to the Internet to find a contractor, TLC Electrical is one of the first names they see."
Tami Church is pleased with the response that the new TLC website is generating within the company, but says she is especially thrilled about what she is hearing from customers: "We have had some great feedback from our staff here at TLC, but the best response came from a customer that told us he was 'blown away' by the new site."
