Latest Release Enables Organizations to Quickly and Cost-Effectively Test Workforce Resulting in More Successful Strategic Workforce Planning

With Modeling 2.0 our customers will be able to quickly and confidently approach any reorganization challenge from Annual Budgeting to Mergers & Acquisitions, Reductions in Force and other strategic decisions.

Aquire, a global leader in workforce planning and analytics solutions, today announced the release of Modeling 2.0--an all-new version of the company's organizational modeling module for OrgPublisher.

OrgPublisher, the leading automatic organizational charting and reporting solution, combined with the new Modeling 2.0 Module enables managers to collaboratively conduct "what if?" planning to model the future structure of the company's workforce. Modeling 2.0 is a simple, collaborative, Web-based organizational modeling solution that allows human resource professionals and managers to securely construct and analyze multiple workforce scenarios to determine the most favorable business outcome before acting. Once a course of action is decided upon, the changes are easily exported into the company's current HR system to implement the new organization structure.

"Workforce modeling facilitates deliberate leadership by allowing companies to better determine what they need to satisfy their customers of the future," said Ross Melbourne, CTO and co-founder of Aquire. "With Modeling 2.0 our customers will be able to quickly and confidently approach any reorganization challenge from Annual Budgeting to Mergers & Acquisitions, Reductions in Force and other strategic decisions."

New Features of Modeling 2.0 include:

> View Impact of Planned Changes with the Interactive Change Report
This new report concisely highlights the impact of each planned data change in the context of the organizational structure so that users can immediately see the effect of a change in compensation structure for a particular unit, for example, or analyze the impact of a realignment on the number of reports for each manager's span of control.

> Preview Mass Changes for Individual Units or the Entire Organization
Users can define and apply business rules to preview mass changes before they are enacted. For example, users can quickly apply an increase in sales quota by a multiplier of the current value, analyze new compensation plans for the executive level or realign an entire department within the organization and see the effect.

> Easily Analyze the Impact of Changes in Virtually Any Area of the Organization with Layers and Span of Control Reporting Functionality
A powerful, hierarchy-based roll-up reporting capability automatically calculates headcount, costs, forecasts and more. The roll-up data can be calculated based on span of control and layer metrics to identify points in the organization's hierarchy that can be flattened or extended to better match the overall organizational structure. These reports also include summary fields and formulas that can be customized for an organization's specific reporting needs.

> Seamlessly Maintain Accurate Workforce Models with Automatic Data Synchronization (OrgSync™)
Models are kept accurate and current with automatic synchronization of employee data housed within HR systems, talent management applications, etc. Daily automatic updates of employee turnover, new hires and more ensure that modeling scenarios remain valid.

> Securely Access Charts and Models with One Click
A new Web-based home page provides users with secure, one-click access to their individual organizational charts and modeling data, ensuring that each viewer sees only appropriate information.

"Organizational modeling improves any company's ability to react to changes in the marketplace or their organization and to plan for the future. We're giving our clients an advantage over their competitors by providing a solution that is not only comprehensive, but also intuitive and quick to implement," said Tom McKeown, President and COO of Aquire.

Aquire has additional OrgPublisher Modules including Integrity, which enables organizations to cleanse bad data and maintain it accurately into the future, and Succession, which allows organizations to quickly build and maintain accurate succession plans throughout the enterprise. All three modules and OrgPublisher Premier work in concert on the Unifi platform as part of the larger lifecycle of workforce planning. Aquire's newest solution, InSight™ Workforce Analytics, allows companies to analyze trends, including those of the talent pipeline, by virtually any segment of the organization to address the most complex workforce decisions.
