Scribe’s Voice Enabled Recording and Speech Understanding System, VERSUS Front-End will allow physicians to dictate reports and receive the draft in real-time.

Like Scribe’s back-end speech offering, Scribe VERSUS Front-End benefits from M*Modal’s award winning Speech Understanding engine. Scribe delivers VERSUS as a purely Web-native offering. Physicians can dictate from any computer connected to the Internet. While not every physician is a good candidate for front-end speech, Scribe VERSUS allows the physician to work as he or she prefers. Scribe VERSUS Front-End allows physicians to self-edit or with the click of one button forward the draft to transcription for editing.

When used in conjunction with Scribe’s back-end speech offering, dictator profiles are shared and created without any physician involvement. The physician dictates, the transcriptionist transcribes or edits the draft report. As the dictator profile improves some physicians may choose to self-edit to reduce document costs further.
