C2 Creative Consulting, a multidisciplinary creative team, collaborated in the early stages of building Chicago Soup. Chicago Soup is a network of businesses and individuals, many who are active members of the social media community in Chicago, that create awareness around efficiently run not-for-profit organizations. C2 Creative Consulting was responsible for the Chicago Soup brand identity. C2 Creative Consulting was also an active contributor on the development of the Chicago Soup website and the production of the video that helped draw virtual volunteers.
As a result of the online buzz created by Chicago Soup and the virtual volunteers, the Chase Community Giving program awarded Teen Living Programs a check for $100,000 on February 24, 2010. Chicago Soup communicated through Twitter, Facebook and video content to encourage Facebook users to vote for Teen Living Programs in the Chase Community Giving program.
