Mobile Interface for Unitask Output Director Enhances Productivity for Mobile Oracle® E-Business

Unitask Software, a Gold member of the Oracle® PartnerNetwork and a leading provider of solutions for Oracle® E-Business Suite customers, today announced the immediate availability of printing support for Oracle’s Mobile Technology Center. Designed to speed deployment and eliminate custom programming by relying on proven methodology, Output Director from Unitask continues to deliver on the company’s promise of “Do More—Pay Less” solutions sets.

Today’s enterprises are tasked with delivering mobile applications and interfaces that respond to a diverse workplace with broad technical requirements. To help meet these rapidly evolving standards, Oracle delivers a set of technology products that enables mobile productivity. At the core of Oracle's mobile technologies are Application Development Framework (ADF) Mobile and Oracle Database Lite, an integrated and complete solution for rapid development and deployment of high impact, mission critical applications for mobile and lightweight environments.

Unitask’s Output Director product suite provides sophisticated and simplified printing solutions for the Oracle E-Business Suite, and has been key for customers in meeting implementation deadlines, reducing the pressure on support personnel, and improving printer security. Installed centrally by the Oracle E-Business Suite administrator, Output Director requires no end-user intervention or administration, enabling efficiency and productivity.

“In today’s marketplace, mobile productively is an absolute necessity,” said Dale D. Royal, Unitask Chairman and CEO. “Oracle Database Lite has effectively responded to the changing way the world does business; we created Output Director’s mobile interface to ensure continued support for Oracle’s mobile initiatives.”

With Unitask’s new support for the Mobile Technology Center, mobile users will be able to leverage the same ability to print to any printer, anytime—including the creation of electronic documents—from the Oracle® E-Business Suite as those users who are at their desks. Unitask’s mobile interface allows full access to Output Director, with the additional abilities to send output to local printers from a mobile device and receive electronic output on a mobile device. In addition, Unitask’s mobile print technology applies the same level of security that Output Director customers rely on for printing sensitive financial or audit documents in the native enterprise.
