“Demosphere has been a great partner in the past and we look forward to working with them again during the USSF D-2 Pro League."
Falls Church, VA (PRWEB) March 2, 2010
Demosphere International, Inc., the leading provider of web-based tools for sports organizations, announced an extension to their partnership with the United States Soccer Federation to handle online registration, game scheduling, and statistics tracking for the new USSF D-2 Pro League.
The system will allow officials from each of the 12 teams to register players online while also enabling U.S. Soccer staff to maintain the season schedule, track results and statistics, and more.
“Demosphere has been a great partner in the past and we look forward to working with them again during the USSF D-2 Pro League,” said U.S. Soccer Senior Manager of Communications Neil Buethe. “Their assistance will be a benefit for U.S. Soccer as we manage the league statistics throughout the season.”
The implementation of this system comes less than two years after a comprehensive system was put in place for the U.S. Soccer Development Academy, U.S. Soccer’s revolutionary youth development program that began in 2007.
The system, accessible through the U.S. Soccer website (ussoccer.com), will register each team’s full roster, while also listing the schedule, results and statistics from nearly 200 games during the 2010 season.
“Demosphere is extremely happy to continue its successful work with U.S. Soccer,” commented Demosphere Chief Operating Officer Benjamin Jones. “Demosphere understands the importance of this project and is thrilled to play a part in the continuing evolution and progression of professional soccer in the United States.”
