Tarps Plus has increased their productivity to over forty percent
Santiago, Chile (PRWEB) March 2, 2010
Tarps Plus has deployed several truck loads of tarps and supplies to Chile for the devastating magnitude 8.8 earthquake that has struck Chile, toppling homes, collapsing bridges and spawning a tsunami that threatened every nation around the Pacific Ocean — roughly a quarter of the globe.
U.N. Emergency Relief states the emergency medical care phase of dealing with earthquake trauma patients could last weeks. After that the priorities will be shelter and sanitation. There is a high demand for tarps and tents now in Haiti and Chili. The supplies are running low but Tarps Plus has increased their productivity to over forty percent. The tarp company continues to supply Haiti with canvas and poly tarps and now has added Chile to their many destinations for tarps, tents and emergency supplies. The of the tarp factory’s CEO, Michael Stein said, “The world’s polyethylene supply is at an all time low, but we will make sure it does not affect our customer’s request.”
There have been truck loads of tarps being delivered to Haiti daily with an average of at least one truck load of tarps an hour. This number is sure to grow due to the earthquake in Chile.
