ExposureManager (http://www.exposuremanager.com), a customizable full-service e-commerce resource for photographers, announces its new CD fulfillment services and direct deposit payment of monthly commission payments.
In the age of social media and e-sharing of our most precious moments via Facebook, Myspace, LinkedIn*, etc., more and more customers are requesting the actual digital image files. ExposureManager has offered digital downloads for years to accommodate this need and has now improved upon its digital product line with two additional options: (1) a Photo CD which contains customer-selected photos and/or photographer-selected images (see below); and (2) the Gallery CD which allows for one-click selection of the entire gallery (CDs will be automatically upgraded to DVD if necessary). There is also an option for packaging including the choice of either a cardboard mailer or a DVD case.
ExposureManager has gone a step further to accommodate the wishes of its users as stated by Donovan Janus, CEO of ExposureManager: “We have many clients who shoot events such as football games where there can be a large number of images containing that person. We’ve made it so that the buyer can simply identify himself in one photo and complete the questionnaire requesting the photographer include all of the images of him. The photographer can then locate and prepare the files for transfer to EM for fulfillment.” ExposureManager will continue to allow self-fulfillment of CDs however, as the cost is reasonable, fulfillment by EM is an excellent business decision.
ExposureManager has traditionally sent monthly commission payments via check to its members. As an added benefit for being a Premium level member, EM has implemented the direct deposit payment system. Stephanie Harlow, COO of ExposureManager, states “We are all living through this tough economy and our users are battling through it with their photography businesses. As part of the Premium Account, we’ve already reduced their printing costs by 10% and offered them an e-marketing solution. Our next goal was to get them paid faster and without any effort on their part by offering direct deposit/ACH payments.” ExposureManager has noted significant improvement in sales using the tools offered with their Premium account and promises that 2010 will yield more features to improve their members’ usability and profitability.
Headquartered in Torrance, California, ExposureManager was established in 2004 by Donovan Janus and Rhesa Rozendaal. ExposureManager is a full-service online sales resource that makes it easy for photographers to sell their images via their online galleries/storefronts. ExposureManager deducts a nominal commission as its fee from the retail price of each sale. That commission covers credit card processing fees. ExposureManager then sends a payment to the account holder at the beginning of each month. For more information visit http://www.exposuremanager.com .
