Almost every single human would have to deal with a health or physical problem during their lifetime. Author Karilynn Marshall was born with a disability—a lack of muscle that makes her limp, and require assistance from time to time. She doesn’t have a problem with not being perfect or anyone who is imperfect. The problem is being judged by those who are not perfect themselves.
In Make it Happen, Marshall shares a different angle of life living with imperfection and finding the strength to move forward. Born with a muscle wasting disease, the author’s left leg loses control and she is unable to climb stairs, cannot run, cannot stand from sitting in a chair and has trouble walking. She had often wondered if there was another purpose for her. As she went through many physical challenges, she relies on her faith to see her through and in doing so, finds the inner strength in the weakness of her physical strength.
In sharing her story, the author hopes to motivate people to seek the spiritual side of their lives and Make it Happen: with God’s Help in Thirty Days. She encourages them to read one chapter each day and follow up by completing the action that they are to take each day. It will be a test to see if they can follow along for the full thirty days. They may also take a Bible and do some follow-up. For more information on this inspiring book, log on to Xlibris.com.
