2010 promises new and exciting opportunities for visitors to the show with an interactive Miele kitchen experience, perfect for homeowners and homebuilders looking to choose and create an inspirational kitchen space. Miele’s presence at Grand Designs Live celebrates its authority in cooking and helps extend its commitment to giving customers the opportunity to road-test its high quality appliances through its demonstration showrooms in Abingdon and London.
Grand Designs Live will feature three Miele areas which will showcase its innovative kitchen appliances and include live cookery demonstrations. The Live Kitchen Experience will allow visitors to see first-hand the capabilities of Miele’s newest kitchen technologies, through daily cookery demonstrations from the Miele home economist team, who will be replicating elements from Miele’s popular Simply Cooking classes. A host of celebrity chefs and culinary experts, including John Burton-race and Martin Blunos, will also be donning their aprons and cooking alongside the Miele team, giving useful cookery hints and tips and revealing some tricks of the trade.
Kitchen Inspiration will allow visitors to Grand Designs Live to get hands-on with Miele appliances, and try them out as they would at home in three separate zones focusing on the latest Miele appliance innovations in steam cooking, coffee machines and induction hobs with cooker hoods. Visitors will be able to really put the appliances through their paces, testing brand new technologies such as Miele Con@ctivity – an exciting new pioneering system which enables cooker hoods to activate automatically and respond to hob settings, even when you’ve forgotten to switch it on. Miele’s team of experts will also be on hand to offer help and advice about successfully choosing and creating an inspirational kitchen space, with appliances that provide the ultimate cooking experience and bring your dream kitchen one step closer.
The product stand will also celebrate Miele’s 110 years of appliance expertise by unveiling the very latest exclusive products from the Generation 5000 range of cooking appliances, including brand new Design Worlds - white and cool metalic coloured appliances. Every appliance in the collection has been designed to perfectly complement each other, marrying state-of-the-art technology with design excellence, and creating a harmonised, stylish finish to any kitchen installation. In addition to the Generation 5000 range, the stand will also host the very latest in vacuum cleaning technology, showcasing the Miele Hybrid – a dual power high-tech vacuum cleaner which can operate in both corded and cordless mode, and the highly economical EcoLine vacuum cleaner.
Visitors to Grand Designs Live can also take advantage of the special show discount on Miele Simply Cooking classes, available at the Miele Experience Centre, Abingdon and Miele Gallery, London, with a 20% discount on the normal price of classes.
