Ricardo Beverly Hills is introducing brands focusing on technological advances, as well a line of eco-friendly products.

Below is a sampling of new Ricardo Beverly Hills products for 2010:

Big Sur is a classic line, representing the outstanding features for which Ricardo Beverly Hills is known. This line of lightweight luggage is created from ballistic nylon for exceptional durability and the fabric incorporates Nano-Tex® fabric treatment – the nanotechnology helps to keep luggage looking newer, longer. Big Sur also features a patented two-compartment packing system, with a floating divider for the utmost in packing flexibility. This collection is available in both 2 wheel and 4 wheel pieces.

Bel Aire is a premier collection, featuring stylish leather trim and an upscale look and feel. This collection is designed for years of use, featuring Cordura® Brand Fabric, a premium nylon that is long lasting and resists tears and abrasion better than regular 1680 ballistic nylon. Bel Aire is precision engineered for consistent quality and construction. Bel Aire pieces are covered by RBH’s performance warranty, which in addition to a lifetime warranty against defects, it also covers any damage for the first 3 years of ownership.

San Mateo offers the best of both worlds with lightweight hybrid cases. The exterior pockets are flexible and the rigid hardside protection is the result of combining micro ballistic nylon with 100% virgin ABS, resulting in cases that are strong, secure, and very lightweight. The cases are expandable to increase packing capacity and feature 360 degree mobility, thanks to the freewheel system.

Pasadena 4 Wheel Hardside Collection offers the protection of hard shell construction but is incredibly lightweight. Pasadena is constructed from 100% polycarbonate (PC) for lasting durability. There are two co-extruded layers to provide additional strength compared to conventional single layer construction. The 4 x 2 double-wheel design allows for 360 degree mobility, making it a cinch to move through crowded airports.

Sausalito Ultra Lite Freewheelers are some of the lightest 4 wheel cases on the market, without sacrificing durability. The ultra light cases weigh 6.7 lbs, 8.0 lbs, and 9.5 lbs for the 20” WheelAboard, 24” and 28” Uprights, respectively. Fly-Weight construction with fiberglass tubing and honeycomb reinforcements, plus micro ballistic nylon fabric is super tough and durable.

Ricardo Beverly Hills has teamed up with the well known brands Sierra Club and IZOD to create a collection of backpacks appealing to a wide variety of consumers. In addition to the backpacks, Ricardo Beverly Hills has created the Sierra Club Half Dome Collection - very lightweight luggage geared toward outdoor enthusiasts. Fabricated with PVC free fabric – the micro ballistic terylene is tightly woven and incredibly strong. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Sierra Club/RHB products goes towards Sierra Club’s effort to preserve and protect the planet.
