The largest tax resolution law firm in the United States recently celebrated the end of 2009 with an awards luncheon at the Sheraton Grand in downtown Sacramento. Roni Deutch addressed her team of professionals and acknowledged the outstanding efforts of fourteen employees by announcing them as her law firm's 2009 All-Star team.

As a veteran All-Star and manager I was humbled by the show of support by my co-workers and management team

Roni Deutch, known across the nation as The Tax Lady, thanked the employees of her law firm, Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation, with an annual awards luncheon in January.

"My team did an awesome job in 2009," explains Deutch. "Every single day they come in and work extremely hard to help taxpayers who are struggling to repay IRS tax liabilities. I am grateful for all of the employees at my law firm, and always look forward to announcing my new All-Star team. The employees who made the All-Star team went above and beyond their every day job responsibilities and I love being able to recognize the level of enthusiasm and commitment they possess."

"As a veteran All-Star and manager I was humbled by the show of support by my co-workers and management team," explains Scott Juceam, who was selected as part of the 2009 All-Star team. "After 10 years working at Roni Deutch, A Professional Tax Corporation, I still get butterflies in my stomach when Ms. Deutch talks about the accomplishments the law firm has achieved in assisting taxpayers."

At the luncheon, Deutch announced the members of her law firm's All-Star team. The recognition is given to ten staff members - nine employees and one manager - who exceeded performance expectations in 2009. She also announced two "Most Valuable Player" awards for employees whose performance went well above their regular job expectations, and one "Most Improved Player" award for the employee whose performance improved the most over the past year. The members of the 2009 All-Star team are: Edward Lester, Manny Perez, Shanen Fox, Cathy Nunes Furao, Brandon Funk, Diego Increta, Paul Venable, Ryan Crawford, Nicole Elton, Brandon Ross, Scott Juceam (Manager), Ben Pollack (MVP), Justin Thompson (MVP), and
Matthew Garrison (Most Improved Player).

"Receiving this award is such an amazing honor," exclaimed Cathy Nunes-Furao, who was one of the employees selected as part of the 2009 All-Star team. "This past year has been an economically difficult year for many people and I am grateful to have a job with a law firm that continues to grow and prosper even in extraordinarily difficult times. The definition of teamwork is 'a selfless act made to achieve a goal that will benefit the whole organization without waiting for reward.' These are the people I work with everyday and it is also the people I am fortunate to have in my life. You are only as good as those you surround yourself with and in my opinion I have some of the best surroundings in the Law Firm."
