We are all saddened by the loss of life and destruction in Haiti, but we are grateful for the opportunity to pull together and help support our global community
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) March 6, 2010
In an effort to support the overwhelming need caused by the earthquake in Haiti, Computer Technology Solutions, Inc. (CTS), a leader in providing world-class technology services, held a fundraising campaign. A team of employees recognized the urgency, as well as the immediate need, and found creative ways to raise money to support the earthquake victims.
"We are all saddened by the loss of life and destruction in Haiti, but we are grateful for the opportunity to pull together and help support our global community," said Larry Lilley, President and CEO of CTS.
Collectively, employees showed their generous spirit by contributing money in exchange for meals and raffle items provided by the company. Additionally, employees made donations for the opportunity to wear jeans to work. The money was presented to the Red Cross to support their efforts as they work to supply food, water, shelter, and health and family services to the earthquake victims in Haiti.
