This latest chapter is part of a growing local network which is the brainchild of Association founder Jess Kennedy Williams. “The power of networking in person for aspiring authors is priceless. You discover quickly that others have the same roadblocks you do and the resources to overcome them appear when you gather together,” according to Williams. “It's easy to start a local chapter. Just pick a meeting site, get the word out, run the informal gathering and most of all... .prepare to have some fun. I invite anyone to do it in their town. Great things will come from the Extreme NE GA chapter... because of the creative ferment and the variety of influences that come from gathering in such a crossroads community.”

“We decided to call the new chapter 'Extreme' because this location is at the extreme northern edge of GA and the extreme southern edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains,” says Boardman. “It's that geography that really defines this community... a seasonal mixture of native mountain folks, retirees, and assorted travelers staying indefinitely. I expect this chapter to ultimately serve aspiring authors in South Carolina and North Carolina as well as Northeast GA. It's an area called the upstate west of Greenville and western NC east of Murphy and southwest of Asheville.”

“Of course lots of the traffic through Clayton is from metro Atlanta,” adds Boardman. “And what better way to get the creative juices flowing? Get out of whatever city you're in, come breathe some fresh, mountain air and gather with others who are moving their dreams forward as aspiring authors. We'd love to have you join us.”

The International Association of Aspiring Authors gathers like-minded authors-to-be to network, share resources and grow together. Membership is supported by a local chapter system, celebrity advisers, mastermind groups and a variety of resources, services and benefits.
