I wanted to create something a little different for children to make, but something that is still eye-catching and fun. Easter is a special time for children and families, so just seeing these kits will put a smile on many faces.

NE Day Crafts, based in Darlington in the North East of England, runs workshops, parties and provides a wide variety of art kits – including two exciting new Easter kids’ packs.

The Pop-up Chick Easter Card Kit can be used to make Easter cards for family and friends using foam, feathers, stickers and gems while the Spring Flowers Kit includes multicoloured tissue paper circles, pipe cleaners, ribbons and gems to create beautiful flowers. All of the materials are non-toxic and safe, and suitable for children aged three to nine years old.

Mum of two Vicky Lloyd founded NE Day Crafts after struggling to find activities and crafts to keep her children, Ellie, seven, and Dylan, four, occupied and believes the Easter kits will provide entertainment for youngsters – and their parents too.

She said: “I wanted to create something a little different for children to make, but something that is still eye-catching and fun. Easter is a special time for children and families, so just seeing these kits will put a smile on many faces.”

Vicky was recently named a Future 100 Young Entrepreneur has already had orders from all over the world, including the USA.

The kits are £3 each, with multipacks also available for both packs. The Pop-up Chick Easter Card multipack kit makes 10 cards and the Spring Flowers multipack kit makes 30 flowers, and both cost £20 each. Possible discounts are available for trade and bulk orders.
