New York, NY (PRWEB) March 9, 2010
YouSayToo, the internet’s most innovative blogosphere company, is encouraging the global internet community and bloggers everywhere to participate in its two-week Social Booking Challenge. From March 8 – March 22, 2010, those who take part in the challenge will automatically raise funds for the “Hope for Haiti” organization and be entered into a contest where they can win cash prizes. Three lucky winners will be selected to win $100 from one of each of the following social media sites: Twitter, Facebook, and Yahoo Buzz. Competitors simply need to go to this link to join in: http://www.yousaytoo.com/awards and follow the directions. At the link, they’ll be asked to add their social bookmarks to support YouSayToo’s “Hope for Haiti” donation goal.
YouSayToo’s 2010 Social Bookmarking Challenge is the second contest in a series to support relief efforts in Haiti. Shortly after the January 12, 2010, 7.0 magnitude earthquake that rocked cities and towns all over Haiti, YouSayToo announced a donation goal of $30,000 for “Hope for Haiti”. With YouSayToo's “Add Your Blog” feature bloggers can easily add their blogs to support Haiti. After each blog is added, YouSayToo automatically donates $1 and then all of the Google AdSense revenue generated from the blog to “Hope for Haiti”. The company will continue the contest series over the next few months.
An estimated 230,000 people were killed, 300,000 injured and 1 million left homeless after the earthquake in Haiti. Thousands of commercial buildings and hundreds of thousands of residences were severely damaged during the quake and following aftershocks. Realizing that Haiti’s relief efforts and rebuild will need support for years to come, YouSayToo’s dedication is focused on the facilitation of a creative, informative, and interactive environment where bloggers all over the world can make a long-term difference in Haiti and have fun while doing so.
