While the leading ladies of Hollywood dazzled and shined like the coveted golden statues of the Oscars, Simon Carter rocked tinsel town at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards’ Red Carpet with a fresh look for Hollywood’s young elite leading men. Russell Wetanson of Popsquire rocked the TV Guide’s Red Carpet with a good taste and commentary.

Each year, as we all know, the award seasons are mired in controversies and causes and this year is no exception. ABC was feuding with Cablevision threatening to pull the network off the air. The result: the Oscars were dark for the first 17 minutes. Meanwhile film veteran Danny Glover called on celebrities to boycott Hugo Boss over the closing of a Cleveland Ohio plant. Thus leaving the crème’ de la crème’ of Hollywood to scramble for what is acceptable to wear from Tom Ford or Burberry.

While many concerned themselves about what not to wear or what to watch, pop culture and legal expert Russell Wetanson focused on his personal style. It is very easy for the Men on the Red Carpet to be over looked standing side by side or a few steps behind some of Hollywood’s most beautiful stars.     Russell chose to project a London Chic style of Simon Carter London on the Red Carpet. Simon Carter which began with exceptional cufflinks and accessories has expanded into a full lifestyle brand by partnering with Bagir International to launch an entire collection of London-Chic suits and tuxedos.

An entertainment reporter and legal expert, Russell Wetanson reaches millions of people each week as a recurring contributor to HLN, TV Guide Network, and Leeza Gibbons' internationally syndicated radio show, "Hollywood Confidential," After graduating from UCLA Law, Wetanson represented high profile clients (including Madonna) and has been named by Los Angeles Magazine as one of Southern California’s Rising Super Lawyers.

Combining his legal background and pop culture addiction, Russell founded a popular blog, http://www.popsquire.com. On Popsquire, Russell examines the daily collision between pop culture and law. As a hybrid reporter /expert, Russell has covered red carpet premieres and press junkets, interviewing celebrities such as Fergie, Beyonce, Christian Bale, Matthew McConaughey, John Krasinski, and Taylor Swift . His love affair with the entertainment industry began when he was 12 and he got his first kiss from Diana Ross.

Celebrity Stylist, Cory Savage, who dressed Wetanson for the Oscars comments:"When it comes to the Oscars, I always want my male clients to be simple and classic with clean lines. I decided to put Russell Wetanson (Popsquire) in Simon Carter London. Simon Carter has very clean lines and works well for events like the Oscars. I don't like pocket squares or cummerbunds because it reminds me of high school prom and that is never a good look!" Simon Carter London is quickly becoming a celebrity fav, with Grammy winners and nominees. Super star Jason Mraz , legendary rock band- Alice In Chains and Classical Music master Dennis Keene all gave London chic the nod for the Grammy Awards.

“Guys have choices today in their own personal style so why should we wear anything that does not reflect who we are?” Said Tim Danser, VP of Bagir USA. “Mraz and Wetanson are trend setters of pop fashion, style, and culture. It is nice to see they are leading the newest British Invasion.”
