Spectrum Chemical Mfg. Corp. has announced its certification for the ISO 9001:2008 standard. This certification is part of their overall commitment to the highest quality controls. ISO 9000 is a family of standards for Quality Management Systems that was updated to ISO 9001:2008 on November 15, 2008.

This certification continues the Company's commitment to quality which first started when Spectrum became ISO 9001 certified in 1994. Compliance with this standard, together with the FDA's Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) regulations, form the foundation of Spectrum's Integrated Quality (IQSM ) system. The goal of the IQSM system is achievement of the highest quality control standards to assure its customers they can trust their ingredients and that reliance on Spectrum's products can get their products to market safer and sooner.
