Rentalic, Inc., the fast growing San Mateo-based start-up revolutionizing the online rental market, announced today that it has retained White & Lee LLP as its legal counsel. White & Lee LLP, a premier boutique corporate law firm based in Redwood City, Calif., provides critical legal service and business guidance to early and mid-stage high-technology and other emerging growth companies.
Along with this new partnership comes the appointment of White & Lee LLP co-founder, Mark Cameron White, to Rentalic’s Advisory Board. White has represented several well known companies, such as HotMail, Tesla Motors, Classmates Online, and 3ware, as well as venture capital funds, such as New Enterprise Associates, FinaVentures, Leapfrog Ventures, Noventi Ventures, and the Band of Angels.
“We are very excited to work with Rentalic. It has the potential to become the next big thing in Silicon Valley. White & Lee will be instrumental in helping Rentalic ascend to the next level. We can provide the tools for formulating key business strategies during these critical developmental stages of this exceptional young company,” said White.
One of these tools is the Whiteboard Accelerator (“Whiteboard”), a global business accelerator program based in the Silicon Valley. Whiteboard focuses on meeting the growing demand for IT companies who want to see “line of sight to revenue” and accelerated traction in the US market. Whiteboard builds, markets, and delivers a high value portfolio of measurable start up, sales acceleration and M&A services to positively impact its client’s ability to achieve corporate objectives.
Whiteboard will provide Rentalic with access to a wide array of industry experts. Rentalic plans on taking full advantage of its newfound resources and will ultimately be better positioned to embark on its national expansion campaign in the coming months.
