New Book Tells the Story of a Middle-class Family Getting Torn Apart When One Child Harbors Hatred towards Her Sister

Xlibris, the leading print-on-demand self-publishing services provider, announces today the release of Intimidating Shades: Why Does My Sister Hate Me?, a new book of family drama authored by Norvelle Traylor Walker.

In Intimidating Shades, readers will meet the Mayses, a middle-class family that has worked so hard to achieve a comfortable life. So it is with much despair that they watch their happy home life unravel because of one child’s attitude toward her sister—all because of the shade of her skin. Following a downward spiral, the family gets torn further apart when an unimaginable tragedy happens. Despite the setback, they manage to pick themselves up and continue with their lives, albeit without two of their family members. All that they can do is hold out and hope that that the one family member who can return home will.

Laced with emotions, Intimidating Shades: Why Does My Sister Hate Me? will engage readers on family matters, relationships, and other relevant matters from one page to the next.
