The BlazeCast Notification system enables timely delivery of information, alerts and updates to large and targeted groups of people quickly and easily, in both routine and emergency situations. Aastra will be demonstrating this solution at VoiceCon in Orlando, FL from March 22-24.
Clearspan was developed from the ground up as a pure SIP solution, allowing easy integration with value-added applications such as BlazeCast. Furthermore, Aastra's SIP phones include an XML interface providing another option for business process and application integration. In this case, the XML interfaces allow BlazeCast to send alerts directly to the phone screen.
BlazeCast provides flexible communication, allowing you to reach people whenever and however you need through a variety of means. Wherever you are - at home, at work, or on the road, and wherever your recipients are - internal or external to your organization, you are ensured users get the message by land/mobile phone, PC desktop alert, email and SMS text messaging. In addition to personal messaging, you can also page to overhead speakers and IP phones - all at once. The solution allows recipients to confirm receipt of your message through their touch-tone phone. If a recipient has more than one listed number, each number will be tried until a confirmation is received.
