The key to the CL200’s efficient production lies in the unique design that enables machining the hook angle, clearance angle, top and blade body with a single clamping of the saw.
Carnegie, PA (PRWEB) March 18, 2010
VOLLMER of America has introduced the CL200 to their line of superior quality machinery for industries involved with circular saw blades. The CL200 is a peripheral grind machine and was designed specifically for those who prefer this type of grind and to meet the demands of re-sharpening carbide or Stellite tipped circular saws in the woodworking market. This machine technology provides maximum efficiency and throughput in any saw re-sharpening operation.
The key to the CL200’s efficient production lies in the unique design that enables machining the hook angle, clearance angle, top and blade body with a single clamping of the saw. The CL200 features complete CNC control to machine many tooth shapes in a single pass. Tooth pitch and missing teeth are detected with the feed pawl.
Additional design features include a frequency converter that enables optimum rotation speed depending on the workpiece and grinding wheels being used. This results in the combination of high stock removal rates with superior surface finishes.
