Starlite Recovery Center, a nationally recognized licensed and accredited treatment center, has announced the hiring of Executive Director, Amy Swetnam, MS, LPC, LCDC.
Swetnam is a behavioral health specialist with over 26 years of experience. She most recently served as the Executive Director for a chemical dependency treatment facility in Dallas / Fort Worth. Prior to this, she spent nine years with American Airlines, first managing the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), then overseeing all communications and employee engagement for their 12,000-plus employees. Swetnam also directed clinical services for a large behavioral healthcare provider in Arlington, Texas, provided counseling services as a psychotherapist for an outpatient counseling center, and was Clinical Director for Parkside Medical Services and MenningerCare Services.

Swetnam is a published author and has been a presenter at local, state and national levels. She holds a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, and is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor.
