To celebrate the transfer of ownership, life EXPANDING is running an “Under New Ownership – 10% off” sale through April 15 on all products on their website, http://www.lifeexpanding.com.

New owner Rev. AnnE O’Neil explains why she felt so compelled to buy the company. “Truth is, ‘I liked the company so much I bought it’ – although I admit that line is stolen from Victor Kiam in the late 70’s.” She goes on to explain, “What really happened is that I had carried the T-shirts in my store Inspired before it closed in August 2008. I was still on the mailing list of the previous owners (Penni Smith and Kelly O’Bier) when they announced they were either going to sell the line or just close it down. Two things motivated me to contact them. Number one, these are messages the world needs to remember – always but especially now. The other thing is that the line is such a great complement to a line of inspirational art prints that I am in the process of developing. While their approach is different, they will mostly appeal to the same audience.”

The focus of life EXPANDING is best explained by the intro to the 2008-09 catalog. It states simply: “A better understanding of life comes with a better understanding of self. Our products offer a simple message with limitless opportunity for growth. As our world continues to speed us along life’s path we are reminded, time and again, that the simplest ideas are often the most needed, and the most treasured.” Rev. O’Neil extends this notion with the invitation, “What better way to be a walking billboard for the notions of truth, courage, kindness, and love than to wear a message advocating for it?”

In addition to the online sale, O’Neil is offering 15% off on the first order for any retailer wishing to carry the line. She is also excited about the possibility of working with groups, clubs, and nonprofits as a fundraising opportunity. As she explains, “Reminding someone of ‘Respect (Have it)’ is certainly a more healthful way to support your organization and its constituents than to offer junk food or other products that don’t really support people’s well-being. These shirts do indeed do just that.” Anyone wanting more information on these offers can reach her at info(at)lifeexpanding(dot)com.

When asked about her future plans for the line, O’Neil shifts the focus slightly. “There are certainly things I want to do with life EXPANDING, like add at least a couple new designs, and possibly run an online contest for consumers to offer suggestions that will fit with our designs and intent. I will be spending the next several months getting the foundation of life EXPANDING firmly in place. Beyond that, however, I am looking forward to develop all the offerings of Inspired!, the parent company. I intend to keep developing more of the inspirational art prints such as “Grasp nothing - Embrace everything”, (available at http://www.healthflowand joy.com/prints). I am also working on a collection of quotes around the notion of Discovery / Growth / Success / Mastery as a never ending cycle we work with in life. I also have at least 3 healing / inspirational books I intend to write. Between all this and my energy healing practice, life is indeed full and expanding.”
