Today it was announced that Generosity Water, (http://www.generositywater.org) a non-profit dedicated to ending the clean water crisis in developing nations, will be launching their first album, "The Generosity Water Project" on March 22, 2010, which is World Water Day.
The Generosity Water Project will be officially launched at the 2nd annual "Night of Generosity" at Mondrian L.A.'s SKYBAR. The event, hosted by E! Personality Jason Kennedy and chaired by Grey's Anatomy star Chyler Leigh, recognizes World Water Day and Generosity Water's efforts to end the clean water crisis. Sales of the album will be used to build wells in communities across the world that do not have access to clean water.
Featured on the Generosity Water Project are Grammy Award Winning artist Queen Latifah, world-famous percussionist and musician Sheila E, Raul Midon and Darlene Zschech. Production credits for the album include renowned producers Dan Lutz and Jeff Babko. All artists involved with the Generosity Water Project donated their time, creativity and musical gifts to the making of the album.100% of the proceeds of the album will go towards funding clean water projects around the world.
