Animetrics chosen by Unisys as Facial Biometric Technologies for U.S. Dept of Defense Contract

Announced today Animetrics has been chosen by Unisys Corporation to provide advanced facial biometric technologies and services to fulfill a DOD Task Order for Synthetic Identification Models. Animetrics, the face recognition experts and only company to utilize 2D to 3D face creation technology for face recognition matching of the most difficult face imaging environments, will provide new advancements in 3D facial processing, which ultimately will provide the DOD with the face identification tools and utilities needed for the national security community

Animetrics, the face recognition experts and only company to utilize 2D to 3D face creation technology for face recognition matching of the most difficult face imaging environments, will provide new advancements in 3D facial processing, which ultimately will provide the DOD with the face identification tools and utilities needed for the national security community.

Animetrics 2D to 3D face creation and recognition products are built on the core technology called FACEngine(tm) which is supported by three patents issued. Animetrics FACEngine and 2D to 3D face creation product called Forensica(tm) will be further developed under this DOD task order and will also be available commercially for use in law enforcement and border control.
