Evers & Co. Real Estate, the largest woman-owned and-operated residential real estate firm in the Washington, D.C. area, announces the launch of its New Luxury Homes and Renovations Division to help guide families through the complex process of building or transforming a property into a residence of their dreams. Joining the firm to lead the new offering are real estate professionals Eric Murtagh, Karen Kuchins and Marina Krapiva.

"The process of building a custom home can be daunting for Washingtonians," said Donna Evers, president and broker of Evers & Co. "Our New Luxury Homes and Renovations Division provides seamless assistance to individuals who would like to build a custom home, from their first ideas of what they would like to move-in day."

Working primarily in Northwest Washington, D.C. and lower Montgomery County, the division partners with local builders to promote new and completely renovated properties, as well as works with prospective homeowners who are looking to build a special home. With more than 21 years of industry experience, Eric Murtagh has facilitated more than 100 customized home projects during his career and holds a master's degree in Real Estate (development) from Johns Hopkins University. Karen Kuchins has extensive past experience working in engineering firms and is often called upon by builders for design and home finishing advice. A Potomac resident with 10 years of real estate experience, she also assists homebuyers in making decisions about their custom homes, including cabinet, stone, lighting and tile advice. Marina Krapiva, with a degree in civil engineering from Volgograd University in Russia, brings her knowledge of construction to the new division. All three agents also handle the resale of homes as a significant portion of their real estate practice.

"We are excited and we strive to collaborate with the other agents here at Evers & Co. as well as all other real estate professionals locally. Our goal is to be a highly valued, one-of-a-kind resource for prospective purchasers of new homes and high-quality renovations. Further, we actively seek custom home builder clients crafting fine homes scaled to the settings," said Murtagh. "Our long-standing professional relationships with local builders, architects, and civil engineers help to streamline and dissect the building process so that the clients we represent have a rewarding experience ultimately resulting with them owning and residing in a beautiful home. Finally, we also help homebuyers evaluate building plans, and we work closely with them to choose a site and create a design that will fit their budget and needs."
