RE/MAX University will video tape The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing's (ILHM) designation training course on April 15 and 16, 2010 at the RE/MAX International headquarters’ recording studio in Denver (CO) in front of a live audience of RE/MAX agents. The course will be part of RE/MAX University’s new on-demand Internet based programming and will be available to RE/MAX associates as streaming video on the web.

Completion of the training results in membership in The Institute for Luxury Home Marketing® and is the first step in earning the international Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist® (CLHMS) designation offered by The Institute. The CLHMS designation is the official luxury designation for The RE/MAX Collection – RE/MAX’s special marketing program for upscale homes -- as well as for numerous other regional and national real estate brands.

A study of RE/MAX agents with a variety of designations revealed that agents with the CLHMS designation earned an average of $177,836 in 2009. This was $65,600 more than the next highest earning designation group.

The two-day CLHMS designation program has been aired regularly since 2004 on the RE/MAX Satellite Network, which broadcast nationally via television to RE/MAX offices and to agents' homes. The satellite television broadcasts have been replaced by streaming internet video, on-demand 24/7 to RE/MAX agents who can watch online or on their iPhones.
