BrightWave Marketing, an award-winning agency specializing in email marketing and digital targeted messaging programs, was recognized among the digital elite at Thursday night’s AMY Awards gala at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The AMY Awards are given each year by the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association to reward companies that craft innovative strategies, unforgettable creative and produce outstanding results. At this year's award ceremony, Simms Jenkins – CEO, BrightWave Marketing – won the prestigious Marketer of the Year-Agency award and the firm took home the top prize in the Email Program category for its partnership with Chick-fil-A®.

The Marketer of the Year award honors exceptional marketing achievements, and this year was no different. In 2009, Jenkins led BrightWave Marketing to its strongest financial performance to date and has positioned the company as one of the premier email focused agencies in the country by helping clients achieve superior ROI within their email marketing and digital targeted messaging efforts.

“I am truly honored to have been selected for this distinguished award,” said Jenkins. “This award and our win in the email category make me extremely proud of BrightWave’s team of professionals and the outstanding work we provide for our clients like Chick-fil-A.”

BrightWave Marketing won the award in the Email Program category for its entry, “Chick-fil-A Enhanced Email Program Drives Sales, Social Engagement and Subscriber Loyalty.” The two companies launched the email program in early 2009 with the goal of better integrating Chick-fil-A’s Email Insiders program into its overall digital marketing strategy.

"Atlanta is home to some of the greatest marketing minds in the country, and each year AMA-Atlanta recognizes these talented companies and individuals at our AMY Awards," commented Heather Foster - president, AMA-Atlanta. "Through a rigorous judging process, we are able determine the best of the best and we are thrilled to count BrightWave among our AMY Award winners."
