Hatcher Building and Construction, the Dallas-based home and commercial remodeling firm, has announced the design and launch of its 2010 web presence, according to owner Dwayne Hatcher.

"The web is so dynamic," said Hatcher. "Consumers demand new and updated information. So we remodeled the website. After all, remodeling is our business!"

He points out that the firm expanded the number of informational pages on the site, to reflect the growing number of construction services people turn to the internet to find.

"I'll take an informed customer any day," Hatcher added, pointing out that the site is designed for both a "quick read" and also depth, with pages dedicated to facts about projects from home remodeling, to kitchen countertops, to business interiors. "In three decades in business, we've never seen anything as useful as the web for giving people the information they want," Hatcher says.

He says he is especially proud of providing digital-quality photos of the firm's successful projects. "Time was you showed a book of pictures. But you could only do that after the customer walked in the door. Now they've already compared what we do with other contractors, so that when we speak they want to get down to business."

According to Hatcher, this turned out to be the perfect year for upgrading his informational site, because he can provide information about one-time 2010 tax credits for retro-fitting energy efficiency into homes. The deduction jumped to 30% of the cost of materials, up to $1500.

"The installation must occur between now and December 31, 2010," says Hatcher. "This is timely information we built in to our remodeled website."
