Primary Wave Music, one of the largest music publishing and marketing companies in the United States, extends its partnership with Motel 6 and re-launches their highly successful "Rock Yourself To Sleep" campaign. The campaign is designed to support touring bands by offering them free lodging while they are on the road. The first phase of the campaign launched August 2009. This month they are running the campaign again. Four of the six bands have already been chosen but there are two more spots available! Bands are invited to enter the "Rock Yourself To Sleep" contest for the chance to win six weeks of free lodging at Motel 6 locations across the country for use while on tour. To enter musicians must submit their song to http://www.rockyourselftosleep.com from March 9th - March 29th. The winning bands will be determined by online fan votes.

The other bands participating on this leg of the campaign are Taddy Porter, This Providence, AM Taxi & Hot Chelle Rae. Taddy Porter are currently on tour gearing up for their self-titled album release in June. Their hit single, "Shake Me", is available now on iTunes. This Providence, whose latest album "Who Are You Now" is available now on Fueled By Ramen, are kicking off their first headlining tour March 25th in Portland, OR. Chicago's own AM Taxi will release their album "We Don't Stand A Chance" on June 8th. Hot Chelle Rae are touring in support of "Lovesick Electric", their debut album available now on Jive Records

"We received hundreds of calls from bands, managers and labels asking how they could get involved in the program, noted Devin Lasker, Partner/Chief Imagination Officer for Primary Wave, so we're very excited to announce that the "Rock Yourself To Sleep" campaign will be recurring quarterly and we've increased the number of participating bands from three to six. We're also gearing up for the inaugural "Rock Yourself To Sleep" Tour hitting 40 cities across America this summer."

"The original campaign was so successful that we decided to extend it beyond the initial touring bands," said Olivier Poirot, CEO of Accor North America, Motel 6 and Studio 6. "It has been our pleasure to support these young artists with lodging at Motel 6, and we look forward to hosting additional bands starting this spring."

Said Taddy Porter lead singer Andy Brewer, "on our spring tour, we plan to empty the tank and give it everything we've got night after night. We're incredibly lucky to be able to rest & recharge in the comfort of Motel 6 rooms across the country. We can't thank our generous friends at Motel 6 and Primary Wave Music enough."
