Award-winning fine artist, Lisa Palombo, today announced that Columbia Pictures selected one of her Impressionistic-style paintings for the upcoming film, “The Bounty Hunter,” starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler.

Award-winning fine artist, Lisa Palombo, today announced that Columbia Pictures selected one of her Impressionistic-style paintings for the upcoming film, “The Bounty Hunter,” starring Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler. The action comedy film, directed by Andy Tennant, will be released in movie theaters nationwide this Friday, March 19, 2010.

"I'm thrilled my art was selected to be included in such a major motion picture," said Lisa Palombo, artist and owner of Lisa Palombo Studios. “I also feel fortunate that my work continues to gain notoriety among collectors, gallery owners, celebrities and corporations.”

Lisa Palombo’s fine art has been featured in various formats and venues. She is known for her Impressionistic, oil-on-linen paintings which feature her expressive brushstrokes and signature use of color that leaves a positive, lasting impression with viewers.

She has also received numerous awards and honors and is listed in the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. as well as Marquis Who's Who in American Art.

About Lisa Palombo:
Lisa Palombo began her formal art education at the age of nine by spending her summers at the acclaimed Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). She later graduated RISD with honors and proceeded to study Fine Art at the European Honors Program in Rome, Italy. Her current work consists of Impressionistic-style landscapes, beach scenes, gardens, still lifes and florals. She is also a featured artist in the Best of American Oil Artists (Volume II), Exploring Color and The Best of Oil Painting.
