Merit Solutions Australia will Provide Practical, Focused and Expert Advice for Public Sector Job Applicants and Selection Panels in Cairns on Friday 26 March 2010. This Training is Necessitated by the New Capability and Leadership Framework That is the Cornerstone of the Recently Released 'Directive on Recruitment and Selection' for the Queensland Public Service.

Anne-Marie Carroll, Managing Director of Merit Solutions Australia, will be conducting two training sessions in Cairns for Public Sector job applicants and selection panels on Friday 26 March 2010.

"The new Queensland Public Service 'Directive on Recruitment and Selection' has entrenched the Capability and Leadership Framework as the cornerstone of Queensland Government recruitment and selection processes," says Anne-Marie Carroll. "The Capability Framework needs to be customised to reflect the specific content of each job or there is a risk that it will result in poor recruitment decisions."

Anne-Marie Carroll will be conducting two training sessions in Cairns on Friday 26 March - a Breakfast Presentation on 'Success Strategies for Job Applicants" and an Information Presentation for job applicants and selection panels on the "Queensland Government Capability and Leadership Framework".

The training sessions will provide practical, focused and expert advice for participants and draw on the extensive experience of the presenters. Job applicants will be exposed to the new demands of applying for jobs in the Queensland Public Service. Selection panel members will learn how to create role profiles in line with the new Capability and Leadership Framework and how to choose appropriate selection tools and strategies.
