“Crist would have done far better had this been the pre-Obama era. Now with the American people rising and paying attention to politics closely, the RINO’s as the Tea Party people call them will most likely not fare well anywhere in American politics,”

Republican voters in Florida have now almost completely rejected Charlie Crist. It looks like all but impossible for him to get elected to the US Senate this year if current polling remains unchanged. This according to the latest poll just out on the Florida Senate race by T.P. Polling. Crist seems to be slipping in the polls as each week passes.
Crist’s approval ratings have now gone down to 21% of Republicans who are likely voters in the upcoming primary. His approval ratings among even among moderates is also slipping below the 41% level.
Mr. Rubio now has a commanding 65% – 23% lead. Rubio now leads Crist with moderates as well. They were Crist’s base and that base is falling apart. He is now ahead for the first time among moderate Republicans with a close 44% – 41%. Crist’s future in Florida politics is now in doubt as the Tea Party Movement makes itself heard. Among those who say they are in the Tea Party Movement Rubio slaughters Crist by a margin of 81% – 8%. The Tea Party is surely rising and is flexing their muscles in the Republican Party. This not just in Florida but also in Massachusetts, Virginia and New jersey as we have seen.
“Crist would have done far better had this been the pre-Obama era. Now with the American people rising and paying attention to politics closely, the RINO’s as the Tea Party people call them will most likely not fare well anywhere in American politics,” said Michael Lodee, the Director of T.P. Polling.
RINO or ‘Republican In Name Only’ is a term used to describe those who are not true Republicans, or at least Conservative Republicans. In a radio interview just last week Mike Lodee spoke with the Florida director of the American Tea Party Alliance. Cynthia Rodriguez noted “Crist is gone. He has no possibility of winning due to his support of Obama and the Stimulus scam. That alone was enough to sink him and now that we all know his credentials as a RINO I give him not even a snowballs chance in hell.”
T.P. Polling surveyed 1023 likely voters for the Republican Primary from March 11th to March 14th. The Margin of error is +/- 4.5%.
